Why Choose Blinds Over Curtains?

Since both curtains and blinds are beautiful and beneficial window treatments, it is not easy to decide which one to choose. Both of these window treatments have their disadvantages and advantages and your personal preference will ultimately decide which one of these two will be the best choice for your home interior decoration. Curtains are what many would consider the traditional choice. It’s because they are offering privacy while providing the decorative look at the same time. Its quite simple to find suitable curtains for all windows we have, since they come in many different colors and different types and designs.

While the style and flexibility of curtains can make them a great choice for your home, it is important to also consider their shortcomings as well. They are not able to provide as much privacy as blinds can. And when we remember how much time we need to wash and dry them, we realize that much time is spent on these tasks. The real problem is that you have no choice. If we do not take them down and clean them, they will lose their looks rather quickly.

On the other side, you can adjust the blinds with the slat angles and let the breeze and light in or reduce them completely. And you are able to maintain the blinds without ever taking them off the window.
