For Pharmacy Technician graduates??

I'm starting my Pharmacy Technician course of next week. What should I expect during the entire course? What kind of math calculations are based on PT – basic math, pre-algebra, algebra, etc. .. ? The first Once I learned to do the calculations, was hard at first or was able to understand immediately? Is there anything else I should know??

Am a Certified Pharmacy …. Tech math is really easy to know how many ml in a ounze (30 ml), one teaspoon (5 ml), tablespoon (15 ml). If you work for a chain of pharmacies like Walgreens or Longs Drugs have to be quick in converting ounces to ml vice versa. for the hospital to do more calculations. With practice you'll do great. At first I had a difficult time with the conversion, but within a week I got a hang of it. I'm sure he'll do well. In addition, when working in the pharmacy …. NEVER NEVER guess or invent something when entering a prescription …. always ask a pharmacist or other technology to help when you do not know something. Pharmacy technology is fun, rewarding, but also work in a stressful workplace when the pharmacy is busy during certain times of day. its imperative that each technology know how to do their job. can enjoy a good ….. Technology LUCK! PS Why are you going to school TECH … ALL YOU NEED IS ONE BOOK ONE PHARMACY AND TECHNOLOGY STUDY OFF … I would get a job as a cashier at the pharmacy are used to start PROVIDED YOUR BOOKS TO STUDY STORE PHARMACY OF OFF …. WALGREENS KNOW even offers a free course for their employees ….
