I am looking for a good program to help me get certified in Pharmacy Technician. I have only found the Kaplans and U. of Phoenix types where anyone with a G.E.D. and $15000 can get certified in 9 months. Does anyone know a good, less expensive option, or should I just study for the certification exam?
Thanks a lot y’all. I was hoping that I could pass it without the large cost of the programs. It seems like their just scam to get people who dont believe in themselves to spend alot of money. All of the salesmen, I mean enrollment counselors, seemed shocked when I told them I had a bachelors degree!

Many self study and are able to pass the exam. You can always check your local community college.

don’t spend all that money to get certified, the exam is not that hard. Just get some books on the subject and study for a couple months. I got trained when I was in San Antonio, but that was through the Army at Ft. Sam Houston, and I wasn’t really necessary for passing the test as long as you have some good study habits.
