Has anyone got a job as a pharmacy technician with a class B misdemeanor for marijuana on their record?

If so, which pharmacy? I currently work for CVS pharmacy but I don’t get paid squat. I got a job at Kroger but then corporate turned me down because of my background check. I have a class B misdemeanor for marijuana and it’s so annoying and unfair.

    I used to work as a Pharmacy Technician in a grocery store but I don’t have B misdemeanor. I think it is because you would be working close to narcotics though it is locked away most of the time. I would try smaller grocery chains or smaller pharmacies.

    I’m a pharmacist.
    I used to work in DC, we’d make ophthalmics for a MD surgeon, using cocaine. Had a big jar of it, we suspected one technician of scraping. One day, another pharmacist was working and a black guy came in with a gun, held her up stole the money, the cocaine, the Class IIs, smashed her head with his foot, she’s still disabled. Needless to say the pharmacy stopped making the ophthalmics.

    I had another technician stealing anabolics. She’d over-order then keep the rest and sell them on the side.

    I would NEVER let you work in my pharmacy. It’s not a profession for people with substance abuse control issues. It’s too tempting.

    First off, There are some questions that an employee can not ask during an interview. Some questions are illegal to ask. You should do a search for your state. If you are still doing drugs and are required to take a test you should also find out what the guideline is on as far as “not being hired for a bad UA.

    If you are clean from drugs and you feel it might be an issue you can always go ahead and let them know of your past and let them know you are clean, what you did to get that way ETC.
