Its so hard to find a job as a pharmacy technician?

i got certified this April as a Pharmacy Technician. I have applied for so many jobs in retail pharmacies and hospitals but still no luck. I have not worked since january.Why is it so hard?. im beginning to wonder maybe they give these jobs to women, because i see so many women in pharmacies as technicians and fewer guys. Please, if im doing something wrong somebody help me!!!!!, give me tricks on what i should i do. Thanks

Yes because they have been cutting tech hours. You’ll have to call around.
