Well, in CVS/Pharmacy, I did everything that is needed to fill prescriptions. I took the prescription from the customer, enter all their information and the insurance information, print the labels for the prescription, count and fill the prescription… we also deal with the insurance companies, requiring us to call them, etc. You may be required to handle the cash register when it becomes busy as well. There are many rules that you will learn when you are being trained… the different types of drugs, how to do refills, the log book, and so forth. The most difficult part is the insurance issues. That takes the most time to learn, everything else is fine, if trained well. It’s a busy job, but good co-workers will make help the time fly by.

well the answer above pretty much narrows it down…i will be starting school for that next week. i heard it’s a pretty easy job. the only hectic part is dealing with insurance policies and customers that are not satisfied with it.
