Hi I have been working in CVS/Pharmacy for some time now and although the people are nice the pay sucks. What is the best way to make the transition from retail to hospital pharmacy? I need to get hired and make some real money

Start applying to hospitals.

If you work at the Outpatient Pharmacy in the hospital it’s just like retail, you’ll deal with insurance information, prescriptions, filling orders, answering phones, and so forth.
If you work at the Inpatient Pharmacy it’ll be dealing with 24 hour medication carts (different packaging), I.V.’s for patients, injections, breathing medications, chemo drugs, and so forth.
You have an advantage due to working at CVS and getting familiar with medication names and an idea of what they’re for. Apply, see where it takes you!
